New store puts an added emphasis on quality and community.  

Salt Lake City, UT (January 31, 2024) Macey’s Market recently opened as the second store of its kind at 1638 S 900 E, Salt Lake City. A grand-opening and ribbon-cutting celebration will occur on Wednesday, January 31 at 10 a.m. A charcuterie event, featuring free live instructions from Macey’s team of experts, tastings and giveaways will continue the celebration on Saturday, February 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Tuesday, February 13, a Valentine’s Day event with samples, crafts for kids and giveaways from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  

Macey’s Market is a companion brand of the Macey’s grocery store. Designed for smaller and more centralized areas, Macey’s Market stores were created to best serve their specific communities. From hyper-localized products to bigger selections of items the community loves, Macey’s Market is focused on providing the best groceries for their community.    

Macey’s Market Sugar House was designed with the community in mind, characterized by well-lit spaces, a modern aesthetic and a contemporary layout accentuated by warm, inviting colors, complemented by a mural created by a local artist.

 

A Starbucks was added to the store so guests can enjoy their favorite drink or treat while shopping. The vibrant fresh produce section has an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, including fresh, locally sourced options and a wide variety of organic products. The delicatessen and bakery sections have been expanded to offer a broader selection of freshly baked bread, pastries, and deli items, including gourmet sandwiches, salads, sushi and artisan cheeses. Kong Kone enthusiasts will also find their soft-serve ice cream available as well.   

The store also includes a comprehensive range of grocery items, including pantry staples, as well as an extended collection of local and specialty products, such as kosher, gluten-free, vegan, and other options. The store also emphasizes organic and health-conscious items, making it easier for customers to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
