With the ongoing success and increased sales at stores across Associated Food Stores’ service area, there are two exciting opportunities for team members to earn extra money this holiday season.
ARO Referral Reward Program
A referral program is in place for all members of the Associated Food Stores’ team. Any team member who recommends a qualified applicant who is hired for any of the following ARO departments/retail positions can receive the incentive:
- Delicatessen Department
- Coffee Bar Department
- Bakery Department
- Freight Stocking Job
- Meat Cutter Job
- Cut Fruit Job
- Pharmacy Technician Job
- Scanning Assistant/Clerk Job
- Dairy Queen Department
- Treat Shop Department
- FE Supervisor
- Grocery Key Carrier/Closing Manager
Referring Team Members will be eligible for a $200 bonus upon hire of the new team member for the listed positions. Upon 90 days of employment, both the new team member and the individual making the referral will be eligible for a $100 bonus.
When a team member has a recommendation, they should:
- Encourage the prospective employee to apply for an opening in any of the listed positions/departments, and
- Notify the TSS, Store Director or Assistant Store Director of the recommendation.
Note: There will be end dates placed on these specific positions and the referral bonus as we get the openings filled and potentially shift to other key positions with needs.
Distribution Center Referral Reward Program
The best source of hires for the distribution center is from existing team members. Team members are encouraged to actively recruit potential new hires, especially order selectors. Associated Food Stores is willing to give a substantial reward (referral bonus) to those who successfully recruit candidates, help the person get hired, and support them in their initial training at our Farr West Distribution Center.
Team Members who recruit candidates, help the person get hired, and support them in their initial training will receive a $600 referral bonus in a one-time, lump-sum payout. The $600 payout will show up on the paycheck of the referring team member on the next regular payroll after the referred and hired team member completes 30 days of employment. The payout will show on paycheck stubs and RBC communications.
