The AFS buying team is introducing Prism this week, the new and improved Promo Events ordering tool that will be a huge step forward for AFS retailers. Prism brings all the tools retailers rely on into one convenient hub on StoreLink. Item Info, Ad Review, Pallet Books, Main Events, Special Events, Hot Buys, and FoodShow are now all in one easy-to-access place.
Access is simple. Retailers log into StoreLink, open the App Portal, and click Event Books & Promotions. From there, Prism opens as the central homepage. Quick links take retailers straight to Main Event books in PDF format. A live list shows every event and its due date, so nothing gets missed.
“Our goal was to make an easier ordering experience for retailers,” said Sarah Narramore, senior buyer at AFS and project manager over Prism. “Prism puts every promo-ordering tool in one place. It saves time and reduces ordering errors.”
This is only the start. Phase one begins with pallet books and event books, then the next phases will include drop-down options for Ad Review, Hot Buys, Special Events, then FoodShow. The SOQ suggested ordering page is coming soon as well but will remain the same logic as before.
