Macey’s Market Little Cottonwood makes its official debut tomorrow with the grand opening of the third store of its kind at 1860 East 9400 South in Sandy. Remarkably, the store opened two months ahead of schedule, thanks to the tireless dedication of ARO team members and numerous others throughout AFS.
AFS team members are encouraged to visit and shop the store and tell friends and neighbors in the Sandy area to do the same.
Greg Welling, vice president of retail operations, expressed gratitude, saying, “Opening early was a complete ‘One Associated’ effort and required countless hours from dozens of team members to make it a reality. We appreciate everyone’s hard work, including long days, overnight shifts and weekends devoted to this project.”
This new addition elevates ARO’s total location count to an impressive 40 stores, underscoring the company’s commitment to expansion and growth. As Greg noted, “We consider this store a new ARO location, marking a significant milestone for our enterprise.”
Despite the challenges and long hours, the store was primed and ready to welcome store guests with open arms. Greg added, “We never tire of seeing the many smiles as guests enter our new or remodeled stores. We’re excited to showcase this amazing location to the community.”
Store Director Brian Golliet has done an outstanding job preparing the store team to make an extraordinary first impression.
