Kent’s Helps Military Families This Weekend

The national nonprofit, Operation Homefront, will distribute gift cards and meal kits complete with all the essentials for a traditional holiday meal to military families at the Kent’s Market parking lot in Roy, Friday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. During this year’s Holiday Meals for Military®, Operation Homefront will put meals on the tables of more than 17,000 military families nationwide.

During the event at Kent’s, KBULL 93 will also be having their “Horns for Hunger” food donation event. Other “Horns for Hunger” events are taking place at Soelberg’s and Peterson’s Fresh Market.

“This is the fourth time Kent’s has hosted this event,” said Emily Butlin, marketing manager. “It’s great to work with these member stores who, like so many other independent retailers, have such a passion for helping their communities.”
