David Panter Shares 2022 Print Ad Plan on Retail Podcast

Over the past few months, Associated Food Stores’ communications team started a regular podcast for retailers. The podcast, called “On break with…” features brief interviews with retailers and AFS team members with a focus on topics relevant to AFS member owners and their teams. (Podcasts are designed to be viewed during a break at retail.)

Topics have included innovation, social media, digital marketing, the importance of connections and more. Retailers from across AFS’ trade area have been featured guests. The most recent episode includes Jim Benedict, owner of Benedict’s Market in Mountain Valley, Wyoming and David Panter, vice president of center stores sales and merchandising.

Jim and David discuss the changes to the weekly printed ad for 2022 and what tools retailers can use to better reach their consumers in today’s marketplace. In upcoming episodes, AFS team members will highlight additional digital marketing tools, rewards and more.
