AFS Team Members Remember Bob with Thousands of Hearts
Team members at Associated Food Stores continue to remember and show support for Bob Obray and his family. As part of the effort, thousands of hearts were displayed in the AFS corporate office lobby to demonstrate team members’ commitment to exemplifying the values Bob personified.
“We hope to provide every team member with the opportunity to personalize a message and to know they are represented as we remember and honor Bob,” said Sarah Pettit. “It’s an impressive sight to see the corporate lobby completely covered in hearts and we know the ‘heart’ of AFS was incredibly important to Bob.”
Hearts were personalized in the AFS corporate office and the Farr West Distribution Center. In addition, any visitors to the corporate office could add a heart to show their support.
