Members of the AFS Executive Team attended meetings with Topco last week. During the meetings, Associated Food Stores (AFS) was recognized in multiple ways.
First, David Rice was named to the Topco board of directors. In this role, Dave will represent Associated Food Stores at the national level and provide counsel and advice as one of Topco’s key partners.
“It’s a privilege for me to represent our team on the Topco board,” said Dave. “Our relationship with Topco is very important and we appreciate their willingness to collaborate as we strive for current and future success.”
Second, AFS was awarded by Topco for achieving the greatest percentage growth in fresh purchases from Topco in 2022. With large companies like KVAT, Wegman’s, Affiliated Foods and others as fellow Topco members, this award is particularly extraordinary.
