Associated Food Stores received a prestigious award from UniPro Foodservice, the nation’s largest independent foodservice distribution cooperative at a recent conference held in National Harbor, Maryland.
The UniPro Key Distributor Award recognizes UniPro member companies for their exceptional accomplishments and growth, for their dedicated participation in UniPro procurement, logistics, sales and marketing programs and for their strong commitment to the UniPro organization.
UniPro Foodservice, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and operating from over 800 distributor locations nationwide, serves a diverse range of segments within the foodservice industry, including independent restaurants, healthcare operations, schools, military bases, and convenience stores.

Team members Todd Bell, Ryan Barnes and Bryan Simonson accepted the award at a gathering of more than 1,000 attendees at the annual awards luncheon. The award recognized AFS’ overall results compared to the prior year, its commitment to the UniPro organization and dedicated participation across all programs, and their impact on the foodservice industry.
