A partnership between Topco and DreamWorks brought the beloved children’s show “Gabby’s Dollhouse” to life at two Utah grocery stores this past weekend. Peterson’s Fresh Market in Riverton hosted a free event from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 25. Macey’s in Spanish Fork held a free event from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. Both events were part of the Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie Meowmazing Road Trip Tour.

Sweet P’s Bake Shop partnered on the tour. Store bakeries displayed Sweet P’s sugar cookies and handed out free samples to children. Store teams set up themed activity booths tied to characters from the film. Kids made crafts, colored, and tried hands-on activities at each booth.

Topco coordinated logistics and worked with DreamWorks on the character appearances. The Associated Food Stores’ exclusive brands and marketing teams managed signage, crowd flow, and activities. The events aimed to give families a fun, in-store experience and highlight Sweet P’s offerings.

“Our bakery teams were excited to share Sweet P’s Bake Shop cookies in such a fun way,” said Ashlyn Petersen, Marketing and Advertising Specialist at DeJarnett. “The partnership with DreamWorks helped us connect with families and introduce a brand that connects with our guests.”

“It was fun to see the kids’ faces light up when they saw Gabby,” said AFS Marketing Specialist Victoria Burgamy, who helped coordinate the Spanish Fork event. “Families stayed for activities and shopped while they enjoyed the day.”

The events drew strong community interest and brought shoppers into both stores. Staff reported steady traffic during the four-hour events. The collaboration also gave teams a chance to showcase bakery displays and in-store programming to local guests.
