Rosie Recognizes Independent Retailers in Ecommerce Awards Event: “The Rosies” 

Rosie, the leading eCommerce solution for independent grocers and wholesalers, recently held the Rosie Awards (“The Rosies”), the industry’s first awards event created specifically to celebrate and recognize online shopping excellence. 

The 2021 Rosie Award winners at AFS are: 

  • Best New Retailer – Stokes Market 
  • Best Parking Lot Marketing – Broulim’s Fresh Foods 
  • Personal Shopper with the Most Picked Orders – Skyler Lameman of Macey’s Lehi  

Lameman, the eCommerce supervisor at the Lehi, Utah Macey’s, has picked 2,821 orders to date this year. That is 50 percent of all orders at the Lehi store year to date.  

Brandon Allred, CRM operations specialist, said, “Skyler is a rock star, always working hard, eager to help where needed and always has a smile on his face.” A trophy is on its way to Skyler from the Rosie Team as well as a certificate. 

“The Rosie Awards celebrates and rewards the craft, creativity, and excellence among independent grocers as they passionately pursue their ecommerce initiatives nationwide. We want all leading local retailers to have the opportunity to learn from one another so they can try new approaches and grow their online shopping program,” explained Nick Nickitas, founder and CEO of Rosie.  

Winners participated in a virtual event last week where they shared their expertise in their respective categories with other retailers. The purpose of “The Rosies” is to recognize the incredible work of independent grocers who fulfilled these orders and fed families all over the country.
