The ARO pharmacy team acknowledges the outstanding work of their pharmacies for their successful immunization efforts in 2022. Pharmacists Nationwide have administered more recommended routine immunizations than physicians in 2020 and 2021. A growing number of pharmacies are offering additional clinical services like immunizations, strep testing and treatment, and women’s health services. ARO pharmacies have been recognized for their leadership in providing these services.
The pharmacy team conducts an annual meeting each year discussing new trends, providing additional training, and sharing year end results. In this annual meeting they had the honor of providing their annual Top Shot awards. Dan Marshall and Josh Davis accepted the Top Shot Growth award for Macey’s Murray (1062), who saw a 50% increase in vaccines administered compared to last year, demonstrating their dedication to community healthcare and building trust with patients. Jill Johnson and Sandy Hillard from Fresh Market Jeremy Ranch (2307) accepted the Top Shot Volume Award for administering the highest number of flu vaccines in the 2022-2023 flu season, with a total of 1,417 vaccines.
