TOOELE, UTAH — November 13, 2025 — Macey’s Tooele reopened on November 13 at 10 a.m. after a full remodel. A large crowd from the community filled the front entrance and joined team members for the ribbon cutting. Representatives from Associated Retail Operations as well as representatives from Tooele city spoke at the gathering.
The remodel brought many updates to the store. Shoppers enjoyed seeing new décor, fresh displays, brighter signs, and a clearer layout. The bakery now includes BreadBot, a machine that bakes and dispenses hot loaves whenever the store is open. Other areas received new cases, new lighting, and easier paths through each department.
Speakers at the event included Greg Welling, Macey’s Vice President, and Tooele City Mayor Debbie Winn. The Tooele High School Choir performed the national anthem. The Tooele Elementary 5th Grade class led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Shoppers took advantage of the many grand-opening deals that accompanied the big event and community members were seen filling carts and smiling as they went through checkout.
The store director and the team play an active part in local events, school drives, and service projects. They work with families in Tooele and know many guests by name. Their goal is to keep the store welcoming and to support the city each day.
