New grocery store opens with a focus on produce, specialty items and local products

With a wide variety of Utah-grown produce, an extensive selection of specialty products, and a dedication to its community, Honey Bee Produce Company has opened its doors in Draper, Utah. The new, small-format store is the first of its kind in Utah and caters to shoppers looking for the freshest produce and investing in their community. The store celebrated the grand opening with a small ceremony and demonstration from a produce ninja this morning.

“We are excited to bring Honey Bee Produce Company to Draper. It’s the first store of its kind with a wide variety of excellent produce, natural and organic items, Utah products, specialty items, and other great offerings,” said Janel Grangroth, Honey Bee’s squad leader. “We can’t wait to get to know our guests and showcase the best we have to offer.”

Named after the honey bees that help pollinate and create great produce, Honey Bee Produce Company sits in the 31,000 square-foot space previously occupied by Fresh Market. Right next door is an ACE hardware, creating a unique shopping experience for guests.
